YVETTE MEADOWS
Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by.  As with most artists, when I write music, I am revealing my innermost thoughts to you, and giving you a glimpse of who I am.  Everything in music is not glitter and gold, my life is as real as yours. It has its fantastic times, and it has its challenges. Thank you for allowing me to share a part of my life with you.  I will forever be humbly grateful that you have taken your time to place me on this great musical map. Take a look inside and I hope to see you soon.

I believe in love.
                                            Yvette
Don’t call Yvette Meadows a “girl singer or another musician.” Call her the entertainer who was voted “2013 Entertainer of the Year” by the Detroit Music Awards, a conjurer of musical magic, a talented jazz/r&b/pop songstress, pianist, writer and producer. Whether she's giving you an intimate piano show or in concert with her entire band, she will captivate you. Her talents extend beyond singing to songwriting, teaching, producing and serving as a musical consultant for theater productions, such as “The Tribute to Michael Jackson” held at the Music Hall Theatre in Detroit. Ms. Meadows’ claim to popularity has been her ability to run the gamut of music from Country hits to Jazz. She has shared the stage with such named artists as, Marion Meadows, Norman Brown, Joe Sample, Art Porter, Jean Carne, Tom Browne, Howard Hewitt, The Mary Jane Girls, and The Dazz Band to name a few.

Her thoughts about love, loss and spiritual rebirth soon turned into a journey of creating the songs for her first CD titled “SIMPLY ME” on the independent Beatmob Productions label, which broke the top 10 on the Soul Charts in the United Kingdom.

Of what she hopes for her career next, she says “My favorite saying at the end of my performances is “I wish you love”. My hope is that when people listen to my music, it will give them a sense of hope and understanding that love is real and it exists even when we see so much negative around us. I hope my listeners can feel my sincerity and truth in who I am and the messages that I bring. I want people to understand that yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not promised and that we should ALL live for today and make it the best that we can. And, who knows what I’ll do next…maybe I’ll be a comedienne!
